The cover is slightly domed, with a scalloped and foliated edge, a gilded rim, and a knob in the form of a cauliflower and mushroom surrounded by leeks, peas, and foliage painted in naturalistic colours. Painted on the body and cover with bouquets and sprigs of flowers. Made at Niderviller pottery and porcelain manufactory, c. 1775.
