artist working in  Corning, NY, America. He has been associated with  Steuben since c. 1980. He is now Vice President and Director of  Design at Steuben glassworks. The concept, drawings and the finishing and polishing of this sculpture was by Peter Aldridge working in his own studio in Corning.  The larger cutting and glass assembling, and the production of the metal base and finishing plates was done by him with John Depp Inc, New York. A dichroic coating, deposited in a hydrogen chamber, transmits certain frequencies of light and reflects others in a range of colours which vary from limited to a very wide spectrum.
