The print below and to the left of the foremost print is of the \"ALTAR OF BURNT OFFERINGS\" which is specifically mentioned in Exodus XXVII. Verses 1-8, and the specified construction includes measurements, the use of acacia and bronze for materials, and a grating which is hallow underneath for the top and center of the altar. To the right of the altar depiction is \"THE LAVER OF BRASS BELONGING TOT HE TABERNACLE\" mentionedin Exodus. XXX,. Verses 18-19. The Lord instrusts that a laver for washing be made of bronze and situated between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar so that \". . .Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet in water from it.\" Finally, the last print \"TABERNACLE UNCOVERED\" includes two parts to it's representation: A. The Holy Place, and B. The most Holy or Holy of Holies. These distinctions are made as the inside of the tabernacle was comprised of two sections, part A. which was the lesser holy place and part B. which was the holier of the spaces and the inner sanctuary within the temple. The outer space, A, held a table which contained the bread of the Presence (shewbread), the altar of incense, and a menorah. The Holy of Holies, B, was understood to be the dwelling place of God and housed the Ark of the Covenant (the golden box containing the Ten Commandments). Only high priests could enter the Holy of Holies once a year on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.","artistMakerPerson":[],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"paper","id":"AAT14109"},{"text":"ink","id":"AAT15012"}],"techniques":[],"materialsAndTechniques":"","categories":[{"text":"Prints","id":"THES48903"},{"text":"Topography","id":"THES252988"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"PDP","id":"THES48595"},"images":["2011EP1069"],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"LVLE","id":"THES49657"},"free":"","case":"Z","shelf":"12","box":"B"}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"prints","id":"AAT41273"}],[{"text":"drawings","id":"AAT33973"}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[],"productionDates":[],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"31.5","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"width","value":"23.4","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[{"content":"\"TABERNACLE IN THE WILDERNESS.
