Growing up in a goldsmith's family, Persson founded his own studio in Stockholm in 1942, and during his long career he designed objects in various materials such as silver, iron, brass, glass and plastic. Besides numerous households in Scandinavia and elsewhere, Persson’s designs can be found in the collections of many museums, including New York’s MoMA, the Musée des Arts Décoratif in Paris as well as the Victoria &amp; Albert Museum.","physicalDescription":"Jetline pattern.  The handle a straight shaft with chamfered edges and a square, slightly upturned end, satin finish.  The upper edge of the blade follows an inward curve which rises to a rounded point at the tip.  The lower cutting edge which is serrated, curves away from the tip and then sharpley inward towards the handle.  The surface of the blade is highly polished.
