A loan exhibtion ,  National Gallery, Washington  etc (International Exhibitions  Foundation), 1974-75, no.  106 (another drawing by  Tironi); the same,  Ventiquattro isole della Laguna  disegnate da Francesco Tironi  incise da Antonio Sandi ,  Venice (Cassa di Risparmio),  1974, p. 6 and pl. 52-7\r\n\r\nThese drawings, formerly  ascribed to Bellotto, were  attributed to Tironi by von  Hadeln, after a comparison  with six drawings by Tironi in  the Albertina, Vienna, and  two other drawings by him  which were formerly at J.  Boehler's, Munich. The  Albertina drawaings (<i>Albertina Catalogue </i>, 1, nos.  361-64 and 367-68) were  attributed to Tironi by H.  Voss in an article on the  artist in Zeitschrift fur  bildende Kunst , 61, 1827-28,  pp. 266-70.
