The obverse of this medal represents Adam and Eve beneath the Tree of Knowledge. The foliage of the tree has been soldered on, a feature typical of Reinhart. The reverse represents the Crucifixion. Struck biblical medals were produced mainly from ca. 1530 to ca. 1570, when silver was plentifully available at St. Joachimsthal.
