It is said that they were very popular on the Continent prior to that. The craze continued to be popular on and off up to the beginning of the 21st century when it enjoyed a revival. This one was bought in Brick Lane Market, East London in the 1960s.","physicalDescription":"This'pogo stick is a wooden pole with turned knob at the handle end. The other end is hollow into which a shorter metal pole and a spring is inserted. At the juncture there are two iron rings on either side of the wooden pole which make up the foot rests. There is a rubber surround at the end of the metal pole.
