In the 1960s, during the Pop and Op Art periods, the bow tie proved to be a perfect article of dress for adopting some of the most imaginative designs and flamboyant colour combinations. This bow tie was produced by the firm Turnbull & Asser of Jermyn Street, London,  noted for their traditional menswear aimed at the high end of the market. This tie is a cleverly designed op-art bow tie, composed of two strongly contrasting polka-dot patterns.","physicalDescription":"Bow tie of printed silk comprising two bow of different designs and colours.
