With an orthodox 13th century composition in mind, his designs show the church made up of two west end towers, three portals, and a crossing spire with a free use of sculptural ornamentation throughout. After preliminary drawings though, he never completed or submitted his designs. Therefore his plans for the cathedral were not carried out in the built form.","physicalDescription":"Elevation with coloured foliated ornamentation of a design for the altar screen or part of a shrine for within Truro Cathedral. The screen is in the Gothic style, and has the phrases 'GOD IS LOVE,' 'GOD IS LIGHT,' 'PRINCE OF PEACE,' 'KING OF GLORY' written at the top of the panels.
