The pairs are alternately green and blue, and the background is in two tones of yellow.\r\n\r\nTechnical analysis: Ground: plain or tabby weave linen ground. Warp: undyed linen, S-twist, 26-29 per cm. Weft: undyed linen, S-twist, 12-14 per cm.  Inscription: slit and dovetail tapestry weave inscription (two rows of letterd addorsed), dark blue silk, no appreciable twist, 45 per cm. Band of decoration at bottom above fringe: tapestry weave silk with wefts of yellow, green, blue, black and cream.
