They are placed before a 19th-century French or Italian woven silk spread in front of a wall in daylight. The objects are arranged as a still life, not merely as an inventory. They all seem to be Italian works: a lead candlestand (16th or 19th century), a maiolica jug (Florentine region, about 1490-1500), a pilgrim-flask (Urbino region, about 1540), a stool (16th or 19th century) and a plaster relief with the standing figure of Jesus Christ (early 14th century, possibly by the circle of the Sienese sculptor Tino da Camaino).
