It was bought in that city at the Cepelia shop, one of a group of government run craft shops selling authentic, often locally made, arts and crafts, mainly to tourists. This attractive toy is the sort of push along toy that would have been made for small children.","physicalDescription":"This push along toy bird is made of wood stained yellow, pink and green, roughly finished and not sanded or lacquered. The wings of the bird are joined to the wheels by wires and when the toy is pushed the wheels move and the wings open and close. The wheels are separated by a cylinder of wood and the bird's body is a separate piece nailed to the base. At the back of the base is a hole into which a stick may be inserted to make it possible to push the toy. In this case the stick was supplied by the museum.","artistMakerPerson":[],"artistMakerOrganisations":[{"name":{"text":"Milenium","id":"A11608"},"association":{"text":"maker","id":"AAT251917"},"note":""}],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[],"techniques":[],"materialsAndTechniques":"Carved and stained wood, with wire","categories":[{"text":"Children & Childhood","id":"THES48980"},{"text":"Dolls & Toys","id":"THES48967"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"YVA","id":"THES48593"},"images":["2006AF4189"],"imageResolution":"low","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"004","id":"THES343663"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""},{"current":{"text":"004","id":"THES343663"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"Push along toy","id":""}],[{"text":"Push along toy","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""},{"apprise":"","note":""},{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"Poland","id":"x29083"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"1985","earliest":"1985-01-01","latest":"1985-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"12","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Length","value":"16","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"25","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"wings open","note":""},{"dimension":"Length","value":"58.5","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"stick","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[{"content":"A label is attached to the front of the bird containing the following information\r\nMILENIUM KRAKOW, Solskiego\r\nNAZWA WYR.
