The school made lace in a range of historical and contemporary styles, and Jesurum introduced new types of lace, including in 1877 multi-coloured silk bobbin lace, like this bodice front. \r\n\r\nJesurum et Cie sold a wide range of products in addition to lace of their own manufacture, including needle lace made at Burano, and also performed repairs and reproduced antique lace.","physicalDescription":"Triangular dress front and choker collar of silk bobbin lace.  Made by the part-lace technique, the flowers and linking leaves and scrollwork are worked in white and half stitches. The colours being shaded across the width of the pieces.
