The floor had been commissioned by the Compagnia del Rosario, who had their seat in the church. When their seat was later transferred to the church of San Francesco, the tiled floor was likewise moved.","physicalDescription":"Tile of tin-glazed buff-coloured earthenware, in the form of an eight-pointed star, painted in blue with details in yellow, orange and green, with a figure of the youthful St. John the Baptist in the wilderness. The saint is represented seated in a mountainous landscape, with a dog at his feet and a staff resting on his shoulder.
