It seems unlikely to be a manufacturer, more probably a retailer or agent, possibly even a restaurant.\r\n\r\nThe design for this service was commissioned by 'La Maison Moderne', rue de la Paix and rue des Petits Champs, Paris, in about 1900. Like so many ventures with a mission it was not a commercial success and closed in 1903. The body of this service is known also decorated with roses.
