The scene depicts Seven Buddhas of the Past and Bodhisattva Maitreya lined up in rather monotonous similarity.   Bodhisattva Maitreya is recognizable by the small water gourd which he carries in his lowered left hand.  He  wears a dhoti and dupatta, his right hand is raised in abhayamudra.   Like him all Seven Buddhas are shown with their right hands raised in abhayamudra.  The faces of most have been broken off and folds of the garments are only lightly incised.
