The palace is indicated by by an elaborate and graceful architecture, with two slender columns. In the niche of the columns, at the left stands a voluptuous female figure, front view with her right hand raised with two fingers pointing upwards. She wears garments with rich ornaments on her wrist, ankles, neck and hair. The first figure, probably a dancer on the left is damaged and only visible in outline. The next female figure is shown in much larger proportions is seated on throne-like seat. The figure could be Yasodhara, Prince Siddhartha's spouse sitting near the bed-end where Prince Siddhartha may be sitting. Her face , half closed eyes turns sharply to her left, probably turned in the direction of her husband. Above her head there is cinqfoil fan held by right forearm of a lady in waiting, which is missing. There are two ladies sitting in the balcony with their right hands holding some flowers.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Unknown","id":"A1848"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"schist","id":"AAT11626"}],"techniques":[{"text":"hand carved","id":"x30667"}],"materialsAndTechniques":"Grey schist","categories":[{"text":"Buddhism","id":"THES48984"},{"text":"Sculpture","id":"THES48896"},{"text":"Architectural fittings","id":"THES48994"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"SSEA","id":"THES48598"},"images":["2021MY2650"],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"001","id":"THES373584"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"Fragment","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"Gandhara","id":"x32655"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"3rd century","earliest":"0200-01-01","latest":"0300-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"Given by Imre Schwaiger, Esq., through the Art Fund","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"0.37","unit":"m","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Length","value":"0.215","unit":"m","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Weight","value":"8","unit":"kg","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[],"objectHistory":"Given by Imre Schwaiger, Esq., through the Art Fund.
