The liquid metal entered through a hole at the top of the mould.  It ran through channels cut in the rubber to reach the central motif, a leaf and scroll shape, which will be one of the two major elements of the brooch.  \r\n\r\nThis stage shows the point at which all the metal poured into the mould has cooled down.
