These hand-crafted evening mules are cut and stitched to form stylised shell motifs, which were one of Shilton's trademarks.  At this time his studio produced between five and ten pairs of hand-crafted shoes or boots a week, each pair identified by their elegant, delicate shapes and beautiful materials.
