The wide panels of this kimono-like cardigan allow the strong stripes to sing against each other. The vibrant combinations of colour are an exciting departure friom Miss Muir's more familiar restrained palette. The different directions of the stripes are achieved by using the knitting horizontally as well as vertically. The jacket, knitted throughout in fine ribbing, was made in Scotland. The Scottish knitting industry is known and respected all over the world for its production of superb quality gaements,.
