Tietze, Annibale Carraccis Galerie im Palazzo Farnese und seine römische Werkstätte in Vienna Jahrbuch, 26, 1906-7, p. 99, fig. 32. The copy follows the original closely, but shows only a part of the design. Another copy of the same drawing is in the Louvre in the album of drawings by Francois \r\nPerrier. It is reproduced, with other copies by Perrier which show the same rejected scheme, in R.
