The forms are taut, and planes meet in almost unfeasibly sharp edges. This particular work, Vessel Made in Anticipation, derives from Rena's earlier monumental jugs. It is, however, lying prostrate, and in common with the artist's most recent work, is of more complex form. One edge of the jug forms a sharp, blade-like edge, which lends the work a slightly sinister quality.","physicalDescription":"Abstracted jug form, lying prostrate, the sides meeting in a sharp edge at the front, the form tapering to a point.
