May 28. 08’\r\nPen and ink\r\n5 3/8 x 3 ½ (137 x 89)\t\t\t\tE.4022-1919\r\n\nPROVENANCE Sir J. Knowles (sale, Christie, 28 May 1908, probably included in the miscellaneous lot 197, bought by Webb); Bernard Webb Bequest 1919\r\n\r\nFomerly ascribed to Titian. The drawing correspons with no known work of his. The picture mentioned by Vasari and Fuseli is on S.
