E.750 to 877-1911 and E.125-1948 are original drawings for &lt;i&gt;Breton Folk&lt;/i&gt;, written by Henry Blackburn and published by Sampson Low, Marston, Searle &amp; Rivington in 1880. Caldecott accompanied the author on his travels around Brittany and produced hundreds of sketches depicting the area and its people. He kept extensive sketchbooks (E.3679-1932 and E.3681-1932) whilst travelling, which contains studies for several of these drawings.
