The shoreline sweeps around to the left, while in the far distance, behind the masts of the moored cargo ships, one can see the dark outline of the Honjo Fukagawa district. The tea-stalls in the foreground, a typical feature of depictions of the Takanawa coast, offered sustenance to travellers on this northernmost stretch of the Tokaido Highway. The figures here can be seen journeying on foot and by palanquin.","physicalDescription":"Fan print, aiban size. Artist signature: Hiroshige hitsu.
