The book was compiled as a record for a production of Massimo Moricone's ballet \"A Christmas Carol\" performed by Northern Ballet Theatre, at the Grand Theatre, Leeds on September 26th 1992.  The production was directed by Christopher Gable, the music was composed by Carl Davis, and the lighting was designed by Paul Pyant.  This immensely popular production was recorded for television by the BBC and released on video (a copy of which is available in the Theatre Museum's library - catalogue number VIDEO 9704024).
