The presence of a shaped apron only on one side indicates that it was intended to be placed against a wall. The only decoration is on the apron and the legs, which are turned (shaped while revolving on a lathe).\r\n\r\nOn loan to Lamport Hall.","physicalDescription":"Small rectangular side table with one drawer on turned legs united by plain stretchers with a simple moulding on their top edges. The front and side rails carved. The top consists of three oak boards, fixed to the frame with large dowels, and is probably a replacement. The drawer is supported on softwood battens. All four feet have been built up by 5cm.
