It was printed by the music publisher and printer G. Ricordi & Co. of Milan, the company that was so important in promoting the Italian poster. Ricordi commissioned work from nearly all the leading poster artists, such as Leopoldo Metlicovitz (1868-1944) and Franz Laskoff. They also printed high-quality commercial posters for manufacturers.
