The spandrels of the central arch depicted feature a large ornamental rosette on each side and stylised, foliated arabesques, all enclosed within a decorative border which interlaces in the centre to form a circle. The decoration of the piers and partially indicated arches on either side of the central one is not shown. Lines drawn across the span of each archway suggest enclosed windows or apertures rather than open passageways.
