This acquisition information reflects that found in the Asia Department registers, as part of a 2022 provenance research project.\nFrom the collection of Dr Franz Johann Joseph Bock. This is one of the first group of textiles that the  Museum acquired from Bock in 186 (Museum numbers: 74 to 795-186).
