In this case, glossy silk velvet in black makes a slip of a dress, a cross-over, slightly bloused bodice and svelte skirt that weighs a mere 380 grams. A pair of asymmetric silk georgette streamers is attached to the shoulder back - toffee pink on the left and, slightly shorter in length, royal purple on the right. This dress was worn by Mrs Opal Holt.","physicalDescription":"Evening dress of black silk velvet with two asymmetric pink and purple silk georgette streamers.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Vionnet, Madeleine","id":"A2439"},"association":{"text":"designer","id":"AAT25190"},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[],"techniques":[],"materialsAndTechniques":"Silk velvet and silk georgette","categories":[{"text":"Fashion","id":"THES48957"},{"text":"Womenswear","id":"THES49044"},{"text":"Textiles","id":"THES48885"},{"text":"Evening wear","id":"THES48999"},{"text":"Europeana Fashion Project","id":"THES265804"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"T&F","id":"THES48601"},"images":["2006AP3388","2021MV0860"],"imageResolution":"low","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"004","id":"THES308360"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""},{"current":{"text":"004","id":"THES308360"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"Evening dress","id":""}],[{"text":"streamer","id":"x36133"}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"Paris","id":"x29068"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"ca. 1934","earliest":"1929-01-01","latest":"1938-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"Given by Mrs D.M.
