This bowl was the designer's first attempt (in pewter) at a double skin production. This series was started in 1990 and made by a Sheffield pewter manufacturer, I Gibson which has since gone out of business. This bowl received the 'Best New Product Award' at the Top Drawer' international trade show held at Crystal Palace, London, in 1990. Although the manufacture was subcontracted to Gibson's, each completed bowl was inspected for final approval by Keith Tyssen in his workshop.","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"Bowl, Pewter, designed by Keith Tyssen, made by I Gibson, Sheffield, England, 1997.","bibliographicReferences":[{"reference":{"text":"","id":""},"details":"","free":"<font -u>Pewter at the Victoria & Albert Museum</font -u>, A.
