Thus the figure to the left holds a palette and brushes, while the other models a statuette of Victory.\r\n\r\nStephen Webb (1849-1933) worked in design and sculpture. From ca. 1885 - 1897 he worked for the cabinet makers Collison & Lock. He showed at Arts and Crafts Exhibitions and wrote essays for the 'Arts and Craft Essays' (1883). His specialty was the work of intarsia but he also designed wallpaper friezes for Jeffrey & Co.
