The robe or sanghati covers both shoulders and clinge tightly to the flesh, hanging at the base in stylized folds  characteristic  of the North India (Pala) school.   Other details include a flamed ushnisa , an urna approximately the shape of an inverted question mark.  The hands have conventional palm-marks incorporating a cakra.  The figure stands on a circular lotus-pedestal which is slotted into a rectangular base, the latter having small holes for securing  the image which being carried in procession.
