The cover is engraved with the initials of the 14 Hebrew words for the blessing of wine.","physicalDescription":"Silver, parcel-gilt cup and cover,  raised and embossed, upper and lower lobes diagonally paired, alternate ones embossed with tulips, claw and ball feet. The bowl spirally gadrooned, every other gadroon embossed with a tulip motif arranged in two rows. The alternating gadroons were left plain, but were subsequently decorated with Hebrew inscriptions. The bowl is supported on ball-and-claw feet. The domed cover is similarly decorated, with a bowl finial. The lid is inscribed with the initials of  the fourteen Hebrew words of the Kiddush blessing.
