The engraving and the plate are produced as figs. 1 and 2 to 'G. D. Ehret's Botanical Designs on Chelsea Porcelain' by Patrick Synge-Hutchinson, in Vol.142 of the <i>Connoisseur</i>, July to December 1958, where the author suggests that the original drawing for the engraving may have been the work of Georg Dionysus Ehret.","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"Print entitled 'Acanthus Spinosa'.
