She is known for her strong geometric award-winning designs from the 1960s and early 1970s, produced chiefly for Heal Fabrics Ltd.. She taught printed textile design at Medway College of Art, Kent in the 1960s and at the Royal college of Art until the early 1990s.\r\nHeal Fabrics Ltd., London, was founded in 1941 as a subsidiary of the long-established firm Heal & Son and was originally known as Heal's Wholsesale and Export Ltd..  After the Second World War the company began to specialize in furnishing fabrics and in 1958 changed its name to Heal Fabrics.
