Müller-Brockmann and his Bauhaus-trained colleague Max Bill were instrumental in devising the Swiss School's typographical principles. Operas and ballet were marketed with dynamic, stylised figures and vibrant colour palettes that were characteristic of the period. Reginald Mount was one of many professional graphic designers of the time.
