These were issued in three editions between 1742 and 1750.  The designs of Meissonnier had previously been published in printed sets or <i>cahiers</i> by Chereau the publisher, and were advertised in the <i>Mercure</i> in March 1734. \r\n \r\nThis plate is from a set entitled 'Dousieme livre des Oeuvres de J. A.
