The black pen strokes are sketchy with rough cross-hatching for the darker areas, such as shadows around the eyes, under the nose, on the left side of the face and around the neck, which has details of his shirt collar and top button. In the right shoulder area, the drawing is signed and dated 'Lars Jonasson ’68'.
