She retrieved them from Knox's wastepaper basket and donated them to the V&A in 1969. The designs were probably unaccepted submissions to Liberty's department store. That same year, Knox abruptly broke off contact with the art schools and Liberty's and returned to the Isle of Man.","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"Archibald Knox.
