It was designed for the Old Bleach Linen Co. in about 1935.  \r\n\r\nThe firm, a linen manufacturer in Northern Ireland, commissioned textile designs from leading artists such as Marion Dorn, Ashley Havinden and Paul Mansouroff. It in turn received commissions from ships and hotels.
