He founded a small studio in rue du Faubourg-des-Trois-Maisons at Nancy in 1912, decorating glass made by Muller Frères. This was transferred to rue de Metz in 1921, with workers from the Daum Frères glassworks, while at Trois maisons a glass kiln was built, the Verrerie d'Art.  Between 1926 and 1933, when the business closed, Delatte, with decorator Paul Maheux, supplied the Société Ligier-Richier with a wide variety of decorative and lighting glass.  He specialised in acid-etched decoration in the style of cased and cut (cameo-cut) glass as well as in randomly coloured, internally decorated glass.  This example shows his work in thickly applied enamels in fashionable 1920s taste.","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null}}],"partNumbers":["CIRC.331-1972"],"accessionNumberNum":"331","accessionNumberPrefix":"CIRC","accessionYear":1972,"otherNumbers":[{"type":{"text":"Glass gallery number","id":"THES50491"},"number":"9521"}],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-04-23","recordCreationDate":"1997-12-13","availableToBook":false}}
