It depicts the Virgin Mary, in elaborate robes, with the infant Jesus in her arms. To her right is the small figure of the donor, Veronika von Rietham, who was an Abbess. The shield at the foot of the roundel depicts the arms of the Rietham family of Swabia quartered with those of Landau.\r\n\r\nMary's robe is made of separate pieces of blue glass. This is an expensive feature and contrasts with the rather crudely draw plump putti.","physicalDescription":"Stained glass medallion, in blue, yellow stain and black, depicting the Virgin and Child and a female donor.
