The figure of St.Hilda is clothed in the grey robes of a nun with a colourful ecclesiastical fabric draped over a shoulder and around her waist.  She has a blue halo, carries a shell in her right hand and a bishop's crosier in the crook of her left arm.  The design is drawn in pen and ink and watercolour on cream-coloured paper with a narrow, grey card frame around its front. Miller who bequeathed them to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
