He wears a triple-peaked wig, a jerkin with banded sleeves and formal decorations on the body, the frilled neckline plunging to waist, and beneath a fitted undershirt with a heart on a hand at centre front, fitted trunk hose with formal decorations worn over striped knee-breeches, and rosette decorated shoes.  The figure is fixed onto a black wood background and framed in a deep wooden frame with a gold frame beneath the glass.  Fixed to the lower edge is a brass plate: \"To CYRIL W.
