Originally a standing figure in an emphatic <i>tribhanga</i> pose, she wears a diaphanous lower garment with widely spaced wavy double lines kept in place with a girdle decorated with a scrolling pattern on her hips and over which an end of the  lower garment  flops on her right hand side. A jewelled belt encircles the girdle from which hang two tasselled ropes of pearls looped over her thighs with smaller intermediate loops lying higher up on her thighs with strings of perals meandering down her legs reflecting the movement apparent in the twisted posture of her hips.
