The tweed mohair is very worn in places particularly on the head, trunk and front legs. The head and body are stuffed with kapok and the legs more sturdily with wood wool. This stuffing has shifted somewhat especially at the tops of the front legs. There is a tail sewn on a t the back of the body with dark grey wool ends. The trunk is very long and there are two tusks of cream felt on either side. The ears are large and floppy and are sewn onto the sides of the head. The eyes are two brown thread covered raised buttons.
