The god Shiva is represented in the love-embrace with his Shakti Uma in the Umamaheshwaramurti.  Both are completely nude with the exception of bracelets, anklets and earrings. They are seated upon a cushion on an ornamental throne, beside them is a parrot and on the ground beneath the throne is a running buck.
