A pale carmine swag is swathed around the upper left arm, curves around the small crown on the front bodice and trails over the right shoulder to float behind.  The graduated neckline and short right sleeve are trimmed with blue grey ruching.  On the formally curled hair is a small stylized crown.  Costume design inscribed \"Princesses\" and annotated with fabric notes and character details. This is for the four Princesses in the ball scene; three were dressed in blue and Maude Lloyd in pink.  \r\nTwo additional designs, for the Prince (S.204-2000) and Cinderella (S.203-2000) in the ballroom scene are in the Cyril Beaumont Bequest.\n\nHistorical significance: An example of ballet design from the 1930s for the significant company Ballet Rambert.
